Hanaskog Castle

Hanaskog Castle, located in Östra Göinge Municipality in Scania, Sweden, is a historic manor house with roots dating back to the 19th century. Originally sold in 1827 to Count Carl Axel Wachtmeister, the estate underwent significant renovations between 1852 and 1854, transforming it into a grand manor. The castle later came under the ownership of Baron Gerhard Louis De Geer, a prominent figure in Swedish politics as the governor of Kristianstad County.
