Mission San Francisco de Asís (Mission Dolores)

Mission San Francisco de Asís, commonly called Mission Dolores, was founded in 1776 and is the oldest surviving structure in San Francisco. The site includes the original adobe mission chapel, a museum with mission-era artifacts, and a historic cemetery containing graves of early settlers. The mission is a documented landmark of California's Spanish colonial and mission-era history.
