Wanamaker Organ - largest fully operational pipe organ

The Wanamaker Organ, housed in the Grand Court of the Wanamaker Building (now Macy's Center City), is often described as the largest fully operational pipe organ in the world. Assembled and expanded in the early 20th century, its pipe count is commonly cited as over 28,000 following later enlargements. The instrument is maintained and regularly played for recitals and the store’s holiday performances.
