Old State House - Boston Massacre site

The Boston Massacre occurred on March 5, 1770 immediately outside the Old State House; British soldiers fired into a crowd, killing five civilians. One of the victims, Crispus Attucks, is widely identified as the first casualty of the incident. The event became a focal point for colonial protest and was later used by leaders such as Samuel Adams in revolutionary propaganda.
