Tom McCall Waterfront Park (site of major public festivals and events)

Tom McCall Waterfront Park was created in 1978 after the removal of Harbor Drive and provides a waterfront public space along the Willamette River in downtown Portland. The park is the regular site for large annual events such as the Waterfront Blues Festival and Portland Rose Festival activities, and it contains promenades, open lawns, and event spaces used for concerts, runs, and civic gatherings. The park connects to pedestrian paths and riverfront amenities and is managed by Portland Parks & Recreation.
