Hockley Row

Hockley Row, also known as Evans Row or Victoria House, is a collection of four architecturally significant rowhouses located in the historic Rittenhouse Square West neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Designed by architect Allen Evans and built between 1884 and 1886, these homes showcase distinctive features such as rusticated stone basements, brick stories, and elaborate chimneys. The rowhouses were added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983, making them a notable site for both tourists and researchers interested in Victorian architecture and Philadelphia's rich history. Nearby, the Thomas Hockley House, designed by Frank Furness, adds to the area's architectural significance.
