Fremont Street Experience and the Viva Vision canopy

The Fremont Street Experience pedestrian mall was created in 1995 to revitalize downtown Las Vegas. It features the 1,375-foot-long Viva Vision LED canopy that spans several blocks and presents free nightly light-and-sound shows synchronized to music. The pedestrianized space under the canopy regularly hosts concerts, special events, and light-show programming tied to downtown's entertainment culture.
