Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens (Ima Hogg's mansion)

Bayou Bend is the former home of Texas philanthropist Ima Hogg, built in the 1920s and 1930s and now operated by the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston as a house museum and decorative arts collection. The estate preserves period rooms, American decorative arts, and extensive gardens that reflect Hogg's design and collecting interests. Bayou Bend has been open to the public since it was donated to the museum and is a documented part of Houston cultural history.
