Tomlinson Mansion

Tomlinson Mansion, built in 1839, is the oldest home in Williamstown, West Virginia. This historic L-shaped brick house features a distinctive slate-covered gable roof and a charming front facade with columns supporting a pediment-like roof above the entrance. Notably, it hosted the famous naturalist John James Audubon during his research on local bird species, including the bluebird. The mansion was recognized for its historical significance and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974, making it an interesting site for tourists and researchers alike.
