Star of India (Maritime Museum of San Diego)

The Star of India, berthed at the Maritime Museum of San Diego, was built in 1863 and is preserved as a museum ship. It is widely recognized as the world's oldest active merchant sailing ship; the Maritime Museum maintains and interprets the vessel alongside other historic ships. The museum complex on North Harbor Drive hosts public tours and programs focused on San Diego's maritime history.
