JFK assassination conspiracy theories at Dealey Plaza / Sixth Floor Museum

The Sixth Floor Museum occupies the former Texas School Book Depository at 411 Elm Street, the location overlooking Dealey Plaza where President John F. Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963. Numerous conspiracy theories and myths-most famously involving a "grassy knoll" shooter-have long surrounded the assassination and the site. The museum presents primary documents, exhibits, and curatorial analysis and explicitly notes areas of ongoing debate and disputed interpretations of the events and evidence. Visitors and researchers continue to reference the physical location in discussions of both documented facts and contested theories.
