Wang Theatre (originally the Metropolitan Theatre)

The Wang Theatre, located at 270 Tremont Street, opened in 1925 as the Metropolitan Theatre and was one of Boston's largest movie-palace venues. In the 1980s it was restored and renamed for donor An Wang, preserving its ornate interior and returning it to use as a major performing-arts venue.
