William Buschmann Block

The William Buschmann Block, also known as the Buschmann Block, is a historic commercial building in Indianapolis, Indiana, built between 1870 and 1871. This three-story, L-shaped structure showcases Italianate architectural style and was expanded with a four-story wing around 1879. Notable for its round arched openings and limestone lintels, the building originally served as a retail and wholesale grocery business. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988 and is situated within the St. Joseph Neighborhood Historic District, making it a significant site for both tourists and researchers interested in local history and architecture.
