National Museum of American History – Information Age artifacts

The Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History holds components of ENIAC, the electronic general-purpose computer developed at the University of Pennsylvania, and an Apple-1 personal computer from 1976 as part of its Information Age collections. The museum displays original hardware, documentation, and related artifacts that trace early computing and telecommunications developments. These items are exhibited to document the technological transition to modern electronic computing.
