Ješua D. Salom Mansion

The Ješua D. Salom Mansion, located in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, is a stunning example of early 20th-century architecture, built in 1901 for a prominent Jewish merchant. Designed by renowned architect Josip Vancaš, this National Monument showcases the Vienna Secession style with floral motifs and was one of the first buildings in the area to feature modern amenities such as running water and electricity. The mansion's southern façade, facing the Miljacka River, is particularly striking, adorned with a loggia, balcony, and an egg-shaped dome. Over the years, it has served various purposes, including housing the Society of Engineers and Technicians and the Sarajevo Cantonal Board of the Party of Democratic Action.
