BDC Building

The BDC Building, standing at 91.5 meters and 22 stories tall, is the sixth tallest building in Hamilton, Ontario. Originally opened in 1972 as the IBM Building, it was designed by the architectural firm Roscoe MacIver & Stienstra. The building is located at the intersection of Main Street West and MacNab Street South. It serves as the headquarters for the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC), a government-owned financial institution that supports small businesses across the country, particularly in technology and exporting. The BDC has a significant presence with 80 branches nationwide, making it a key player in Canada's economic landscape.
