Sargaalaya Crafts Village

Sargaalaya is a vibrant 20-acre arts and crafts village located in Iringal, near Vatakara in Kerala, India. Established in 2011 by the Kerala Tourism Department, it features over 60 stalls showcasing a variety of ethnic crafts and includes a Crafts Design and Technology development center for training artisans. The village hosts the annual Sargaalaya International Arts & Crafts Festival from December 20 to January 5, attracting hundreds of artisans and thousands of visitors, making it South India's largest handicraft fair. Additionally, visitors can enjoy recreational boating on the Kuttiady River, with options for rowing and paddle boats.
