Dallas Sidekicks indoor soccer at Reunion Arena

The original Dallas Sidekicks indoor soccer franchise began play in 1984 and used Reunion Arena as its principal home venue for many seasons. While based in Dallas, the Sidekicks won their first Major Indoor Soccer League championship in 1987. Reunion Arena hosted the team's regular-season and playoff matches during the franchise's early period in the city.
