Boeing 'Red Barn' - Boeing's original airplane factory

The Red Barn is the original Boeing airplane factory building that was moved to and is preserved on the Museum of Flight campus. It is recognized as the site where William Boeing and his early employees built and tested some of Boeing’s first aircraft. The structure is maintained as part of the museum’s collection to document Boeing’s founding and early aviation work; it is open to visitors as part of the museum experience.
