O. C. Barber Barn No. 1

The O. C. Barber Barn No. 1, constructed in 1909, is a significant historic farm building situated on the Anna-Dean Farm in Barberton, Ohio. Built by the influential businessman Ohio Columbus Barber, known as America's Match King, the barn was part of his vision for a modern agricultural enterprise. It was designed to meet the latest standards for milk production and was once hailed as the largest barn in the world, although it ultimately became the smallest cow barn on the farm. The barn was recognized for its historical importance and added to the National Register of Historic Places on February 28, 1973, making it a noteworthy site for tourists and researchers interested in agricultural history and industrial development in the early 20th century.
