Ernst-Neufert-Haus

The Ernst-Neufert-Haus, also known as the Meisterbau, is a striking residential building located in Darmstadt, Germany. Designed by architect Ernst Neufert and completed in 1955, it originally served as a hostel for single men as part of a post-World War II initiative to revitalize the city’s architecture. Although the building's initial design intent was altered over time to accommodate typical apartments, it remains a significant example of Neufert's architectural style and is now protected as a heritage site. Visitors can also enjoy a restaurant situated on the lower floor, accessible via a prominent staircase.
