Union Station Hotel (former railroad terminal)

Originally opened as Nashville's Union Station in 1900, the Richardsonian Romanesque building is noted for its clock tower, heavy stonework, and a vaulted central lobby. Passenger rail service ended mid-20th century and the terminal was later converted and reopened as a boutique hotel while preserving many original architectural features. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and remains a prominent example of turn-of-the-century railroad architecture in Nashville.
