Medborgarhuset

Medborgarhuset, or the Citizen's Building, is a prominent civic hall located in Södermalm, Stockholm. Opened between 1936 and 1939, this Neoclassical Functionalist structure features a variety of community facilities, including a public bath, auditorium, library, gymnasium, and children's theatre. The building underwent significant restoration in 1981 and saw updates to its bath facilities in 1989. Notably, it served as the site of Anna Lindh's last speech before her tragic assassination in 2003, adding historical significance to its architectural charm.
