Johnson-Thompson House

The Johnson-Thompson House, built around 1750, is the oldest structure in Winchester, Massachusetts. This historic Georgian house features remnants of a large central chimney, a hallmark of its architectural style, which was later modified. Originally constructed by William Johnson, a notable figure in Woburn's history, the property later passed to Timothy Thompson in 1858. The house has been recognized for its historical significance and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989, remaining in the hands of Thompson descendants.
