Sun God sculpture (UC San Diego)

Sun God is a colorful outdoor sculpture by artist Niki de Saint Phalle installed on the University of California, San Diego campus in 1983 as part of the Stuart Collection of site-specific artworks. The sculpture sits on Library Walk near Geisel Library and lent its name to UC San Diego's annual Sun God Festival, a longstanding student music and arts event. Sun God is a prominent campus landmark and frequent subject of photography and campus tours.
