Philadelphia Sketch Club - longstanding artists' club

The Philadelphia Sketch Club, founded in 1860, is one of the oldest continuously operating artists' clubs in the United States and has been active in Philadelphia's visual-arts community since the 19th century. The club presents exhibitions, workshops, lectures, and classes, and maintains an archive of member artists' work. It occupies a historic Center City building and continues to support both emerging and established local artists.
