Denver Union Station - Historic hub and 2014 redevelopment

Denver's Union Station originally opened in 1881 and underwent a comprehensive restoration and redevelopment that reopened the Great Hall and introduced the Crawford Hotel and new retail/dining spaces in 2014. The renovated station now functions as a multimodal transportation hub serving Amtrak, RTD commuter and light rail, and intercity buses while also hosting hospitality and commercial tenants. The project preserved historic elements of the terminal while adapting it for contemporary transit and passenger services.
