Hammering Man (Seattle Art Museum)

Hammering Man is a kinetic sculpture by Jonathan Borofsky installed outside the Seattle Art Museum. The black silhouetted figure has a motor-driven arm that repeatedly moves to simulate hammering work. It is one of a global series of Hammering Man sculptures that comment on labor and industry.
