Baldomero Aguinaldo Shrine

The Baldomero Aguinaldo Shrine, located in Binakayan, Kawit, Cavite, is a historic house built in 1906 by Baldomero Aguinaldo, a key figure in the Philippine Revolution and cousin of Emilio Aguinaldo. This two-storey structure features a distinctive blue-green and white paint finish, with architectural elements that promote ventilation, such as large glass-pane windows and wooden blinds made from local hardwoods. The interior includes a living room, two bedrooms, a kitchen, and a dining area filled with period furniture and memorabilia. Donated to the government in 1982, the shrine has been restored into a museum, offering visitors a glimpse into the life and contributions of Baldomero Aguinaldo during a pivotal time in Philippine history.
