San Francisco Botanical Garden tree collections

The San Francisco Botanical Garden at Strybing Arboretum maintains thousands of plant species across 55 acres and includes extensive living collections of trees from Mediterranean, temperate, and tropical regions. The garden houses notable specimens of rare and endangered tree species and mature conifers sourced from around the world, curated for conservation and public education. It is operated within Golden Gate Park by the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department.
