United States Mint, Denver (limited-access tours)

The Denver Mint is an active U.S. Mint facility that produces circulating coins and is located on West Colfax Avenue. Public tours are available but require advance reservations, presentation of government-issued photo ID, and are limited in number, making access more difficult than for typical tourist attractions. Because it is a working federal facility with security and scheduling restrictions, visiting the mint is often described as hard to arrange for casual visitors.
