Sac City Station

Sac City Station is a historic former train station in Sac City, Iowa, notable for its rich railway history dating back to the late 19th century. Established in 1855, the station's first rail service arrived in 1878, connecting Sac City with Wall Lake. The original frame depot was replaced in 1916 by a brick structure, which served both passenger and freight services until 1948. After various uses, including a restaurant, the depot now hosts retail establishments and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016.
