Motor Square Garden

Motor Square Garden, located in Pittsburgh's East Liberty neighborhood, is a historic building listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Originally built between 1898 and 1900 as the East Liberty Market House, it features a striking blue dome and yellow brick facade. The venue has a rich history, having served various purposes including an auto show site, a sports venue for boxing and basketball, and even hosting endurance dance marathons during the Great Depression. Today, it houses the Pittsburgh branch of the American Automobile Association and retains its industrial charm with a large atrium and exposed steel girders, making it an interesting stop for tourists and researchers alike.
