Palisades Charter Elementary School

Palisades Charter Elementary School, located in the scenic Pacific Palisades area of California, is a historic institution that has been serving the community since its opening in 1922. Known for its beautiful Spanish Colonial Revival architecture, the school became a charter in 1993 and currently caters to approximately 400 students from kindergarten to fifth grade. The school faced significant challenges, including damage from the 1971 San Fernando earthquake and the devastating Palisades Fire of 2025, which led to the loss of its bungalow classrooms. Despite these setbacks, the school continues to thrive under the leadership of Principal Juliet Herman, providing a rich educational experience in a picturesque setting.
