Kimmel Center / Verizon Hall - Home of the Philadelphia Orchestra since 2001

The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts opened in 2001 and includes Verizon Hall as its major symphonic auditorium. Since 2001 the Philadelphia Orchestra has made the Kimmel Center its principal concert residence. The complex also presents chamber, choral, jazz, and contemporary music series and is a central site in Philadelphia's modern music history.
