Mikhail Bulgakov Museum

The Mikhail Bulgakov Museum in Kyiv, Ukraine, is dedicated to the life and works of the renowned writer Mikhail Bulgakov, who was born in the city. Opened in 1991 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of his birth, the museum is located at No.13 on Andriivskyi Descent, a site referenced in Bulgakov's novel 'The White Guard.' In recent years, it has faced controversy regarding Bulgakov's legacy and his views on Ukrainian statehood, especially following the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.
