Middle Mountain Cabins

Middle Mountain Cabins, located in the scenic Monongahela National Forest of West Virginia, are three historic cabins built in 1931. These charming accommodations include a Main Cabin and two mirror-image cabins, originally designed for fire lookouts and Forest Service operations. Now available for recreational use, they offer a unique opportunity for tourists and researchers to experience the area's rich history and natural beauty. The cabins were recognized for their historical significance by being listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.
