Regions Bank Building (Mobile)

The Regions Bank Building, originally known as the Merchants National Bank Building, is a historic high-rise in Mobile, Alabama, completed in 1929. Standing at 236 feet tall with 18 stories, it was once the tallest building in Mobile and remains the sixth tallest today. Designed in the Art Deco style by the Chicago architectural firm Graham, Anderson, Probst & White, it features a striking copper-plated pyramidal roof. Currently, the building is undergoing a $30 million renovation to transform it into an apartment complex, making it a point of interest for both tourists and researchers interested in architectural history and urban development.
