Ympyrätalo

Ympyrätalo, or 'Circle House', is a distinctive circular office building located in the Hakaniemi district of Helsinki, Finland. Completed in 1968, it is recognized as a landmark of 1960s Finnish architecture, designed by the notable architects Heikki and Kaija Siren. Originally serving as offices for Kansallis-Osake-Pankki, the building has undergone renovations to meet modern standards while preserving its architectural integrity. Today, it houses various tenants, including a grocery store and a private clinic, and is easily accessible via the nearby Hakaniemi metro station and multiple tram lines. A notable feature of Ympyrätalo is the minimalist sculpture 'The Symbol', a 3-meter steel ball created by Hannu Siren, adding an artistic touch to this iconic structure.
