Aynesworth–Wright House

The Aynesworth–Wright House, built in 1852, is a historic Greek revival residence located in Austin, Texas. Originally constructed by Isaiah Hezekiah Aynesworth, a Baptist preacher and cabinet maker, the house features a unique two-room design with an enclosed dog-run hallway. In 1855, it was purchased by Dr. Joseph Wright, a physician and surveyor. The house has been relocated to Pioneer Farms and restored, making it a notable site for tourists and researchers interested in Texas history and architecture.
