Huntington Place (formerly Cobo Hall, major convention center)

Opened in 1960 as Cobo Hall, the convention center served for decades as Detroit's primary large-scale event and exhibition venue, including hosting the North American International Auto Show for many years. The facility was renamed TCF Center in 2019 and later Huntington Place in 2021 following corporate naming changes. It remains a central piece of Detroit's mid-20th-century civic infrastructure adapted for contemporary use.
