Faversham House

Faversham House is a grand heritage-listed residence in York, Western Australia, built in four stages by the Monger family. With nearly fifty rooms, it is one of the largest colonial homes in the area. The house has a rich history, starting with John Henry Monger Snr, who arrived in 1829 and became a prominent figure in York, establishing the first hotel and a general store. Over the years, Faversham House has served various purposes, including a hospital during World War II and a conference center. Today, it is a beautifully restored venue for weddings and accommodation, offering visitors a glimpse into the colonial past of Western Australia.
