Paradise (Warrenton, Virginia)

Paradise is a historic house located at 158 Winchester Street in Warrenton, Virginia, believed to be the oldest building in the area, dating back to around 1758. This two-story timber-frame structure features a central block with three bays and side passage plan, flanked by two-story wood frame wings. The house underwent significant renovations in 1870, which introduced a full-width porch and intricate Italianate and Folk Victorian woodwork. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014 and is part of the Warrenton Historic District, recognized for its architectural significance.
