Vegas Vic neon cowboy sign

The large neon cowboy known as Vegas Vic was installed in 1951 on the Pioneer Club building and became an enduring symbol of downtown Las Vegas. The sign has been preserved and restored multiple times and is associated with the midcentury neon identity of Fremont Street. Vegas Vic remains one of the most recognizable individual neon signs in the city’s public-art and cultural landscape.
