Whitby Mansion

The Whitby Mansion, located in Sidney, Ohio, is a historic house built in 1890 for industrialist W.H.C. Goode. Known for its impressive Jacobethan and Châteauesque architectural styles, the mansion features massive stone walls and a slate roof. Once a private residence, it was transformed into a historic archive and art museum by The Way International in the mid-1970s. Now owned by GreatStone Castle Resorts, it operates as a charming bed and breakfast. The mansion was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976, recognized for its significance as a prime example of late 19th-century American architecture.
