Wortham Theater Center (Wortham family philanthropy)

The Wortham Theater Center, opened in 1987, is named in recognition of the Wortham family's philanthropic support, notably Gus and Lyndall Wortham. The center houses the Cullen Theater and Brown Theater and is home to the Houston Ballet and Houston Grand Opera.
