Hawks House

Hawks House is a historic home in New Bern, North Carolina, built between 1780 and 1810. This charming 1.5-story frame dwelling features a distinctive gambrel roof and was once the residence of Francis Hawks, the son of architect John Hawks, from 1807 to 1832. In the 1970s, the house was relocated to 517 New Street and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972, making it a significant site for both tourists and researchers interested in early American architecture and history.
