Broom Building

The Broom Building, located at 701 Wheeling Avenue in Cambridge, Ohio, is a historic site listed on the National Register of Historic Places since February 17, 1983. Built in 1890 in the Italianate style by Adam Broom, the building originally housed a grocery store and later served as a location for the Practical Business College. Its distinctive architectural features include a three-story brick structure with rounded corners, decorative stone elements, and a flat roof adorned with ornate cornices. As one of the few remaining Italianate buildings in Cambridge, it offers a glimpse into the city's architectural heritage, making it an interesting stop for tourists and researchers alike.
