Buildings of the Northern Insurance Company

The Buildings of the Northern Insurance Company, located on Ilyinka Street in Moscow, are a remarkable architectural complex constructed between 1910 and 1911. Designed by prominent architects, the two buildings showcase a blend of neoclassical and modernist styles, featuring a striking clock tower and a grand rotunda. Originally built for the Northern Insurance Company, the site has a rich history, having housed various government offices after the October Revolution. Today, the eastern building serves the Presidential Administration, while the western building is home to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, making it a significant landmark in the heart of Moscow.
