Winchester Mystery House

The Winchester Mystery House is a Victorian mansion built and expanded by Sarah Winchester with continuous construction reported from 1884 until her death in 1922. The house contains approximately 160 rooms and is noted for architectural oddities such as staircases and doors that lead to ceilings or outside walkways. It operates as a historic house museum documenting the Winchester family's history and late 19th–early 20th century architecture.
